It’s sad how someone leaving makes you think about all the good times you had with them.

Kenny leaves for the air force tomorrow and as much as I’d like to blame him for hurting me it’s not all his fault. I had to leave his going away party early because I couldn’t stop crying and I realized that this is the boy that I’ve known for ten years, that I’ve been friends with for five. That I used to hang out with every weekend and who was there when my Mom got sick. We’re texting now and he just told me how much I meant to him, and I’m going to miss him more than anything.
